TheraLearn Instructor Terms

TheraLearn is part of TheraTreat, operated by TheraTreat Health Private Limited ("TheraTreat", "we", "us"). These terms apply to you if you register as a TheraLearn instructor, to create courses, host webinars, or both. They add to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which apply to you as well.

Therapists on TheraTreat can also host webinars on TheraLearn. When they do, sections 3 to 6 describe how those webinars are owned, paid and refunded.

• When you register, your instructor account is pending until our team reviews it. You cannot create a course or schedule a webinar until we approve it, and we can decline an application or withdraw approval later.
• Every course starts as a draft. It is not listed or sold until our team has reviewed and published it, and a course with no chapters cannot be published.
• Once your account is approved, a webinar you schedule is listed on TheraLearn straight away.
• We can change the listing details and price of a course or webinar, reschedule a webinar, archive a course (which takes it out of the catalogue) and cancel a webinar (section 6).

• Courses. You keep ownership of the courses you create. By submitting a course to TheraLearn, you give TheraTreat the right to host it, display it and sell access to it on TheraTreat.
• Webinars. When you schedule a webinar you choose who owns its content and how a recording of it may be used. Unless you choose otherwise, it is yours and live only. Webinars are not recorded today, and these choices are kept for when that changes: they do not yet change how a webinar is run or paid.
• Upload only material you own or have permission to use.

When a learner buys your course, or a seat at your paid webinar, TheraTreat keeps a commission on the sale. The rate depends on the price the learner paid:

• You earn the price paid minus the commission. For example, on a sale at ₹750 the commission is ₹127.50 (17%) and you earn ₹622.50.
• The rate is fixed on each sale when it is made. If we change the rates, sales already made keep the rate they were made at.
• Free courses and free webinars carry no commission and earn nothing. Webinars TheraTreat hosts itself are not credited to any instructor.

• An earning is recorded for you when the learner's payment is confirmed.
• Each earning starts as pending. Once the sale is past its refund window, our team marks it payable. When we have sent you the money, we mark it paid and record the transfer reference.
• Payouts are made by our team, not automatically, and there is no fixed payout schedule yet.

• Refunds to learners follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy. A course is not refundable once access is granted unless we agree otherwise; a learner who thinks a refund is warranted can write to us within 7 days of purchase, and we review it by hand.
• Only our team issues TheraLearn refunds.
• A full refund ends the learner's access to the course, or their seat at the webinar, and reverses your earning on that sale if it has not been paid to you.
• A partial refund leaves the learner's access in place and reduces your earning in proportion, at the commission rate fixed on the sale.
• A refund made after an earning has been paid to you does not change that earning automatically; our team handles it separately.
• Only our team can cancel a webinar, so if you can no longer run one, tell us. When a webinar is cancelled, everyone who paid for a seat is refunded in full and your earnings on those seats are reversed.

• Keep your instructor profile accurate, including your qualifications and experience.
• The code of conduct in our Terms of Use applies to your courses, your webinars and what you say and share in live sessions.
• Use any information about learners that reaches you through TheraLearn, such as names and questions in a live session, only to run the course or webinar it relates to.

You are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn through TheraLearn.

• If you break these terms or our Terms of Use, we can withdraw your approval, archive your courses, cancel your webinars (which refunds their paid seats, section 6) or suspend your account.
• You can stop teaching at any time by writing to us.

We email you about material changes to these terms, including changes to the commission rates, 30 days before they apply to you; until then, the previous version applies. The version and date at the top of this page change with every revision.

These terms are governed by the laws of India (Maharashtra). Disputes follow the process in our Terms of Use: talk to us first, then mediation, then binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in Mumbai. The courts at Mumbai have jurisdiction.
