I am a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist with strong academic training and hands-on clinical experience in both pediatric and adult neurorehabilitation settings. I am currently a second-year postgraduate student pursuing my Master’s in Pediatrics Occupational Therapy from the prestigious Seth GS Medical College and King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital, Mumbai, one of India’s leading hospitals. My clinical exposure includes extensive work in pediatric therapy setups, where I have worked with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, developmental delays, sensory processing difficulties, pediatric feeding challenges, and learning concerns. I focus on early intervention, functional skill development, sensory integration, play-based therapy, and caregiver education to ensure meaningful and sustainable progress for each child. In addition to pediatrics, I have practical experience providing adult neurological rehabilitation through home-visit therapy, working with individuals with conditions such as stroke, postoperative neurological cases, multiple sclerosis and functional limitations affecting daily activities. I emphasize restoring independence in activities of daily living, improving coordination, balance, and adapting the home environment to enhance safety and participation. I strongly believe that therapy is most effective when delivered in the client’s natural environment. My home-based therapy sessions are individualized, goal-oriented, and evidence-based, designed to meet the unique needs of each client and family. I prioritize building strong therapeutic relationships, actively involving caregivers, and providing clear home programs to promote consistency and long-term outcomes. With a warm, patient-centered approach, strong communication skills, and a deep commitment to ethical and professional practice, my goal is to help individuals of all ages achieve maximum independence, confidence, and quality of life through meaningful occupation.
